Authorship Requirements

Authorship should be limited to individuals who made a substantial scholarly contribution to the research, analysis, interpretation or manuscript preparation.

All authors should approve the submitted version, agree to the authorship order and accept responsibility for the integrity of the work.

Academic rank or professional position alone does not justify authorship.

Originality and Plagiarism

Submitted manuscripts may be examined for similarity and originality concerns.

Data and Scientific Accuracy

Funding and Conflicts of Interest

Authors should disclose financial support, institutional assistance, commercial relationships, consultancy, employment, patents or other interests that could influence the research.

The role of the funding organization should be explained where it affected study design, data collection, analysis, interpretation or manuscript preparation.

Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence

Generative AI systems must not be listed as authors. Human authors remain responsible for the originality, scientific accuracy, references, data, confidentiality and conclusions of the manuscript.

  • Do not use AI to fabricate patients, data, findings or references.
  • Verify every AI-assisted factual statement and citation.
  • Do not upload confidential patient information to insecure AI systems.
  • Disclose substantial AI assistance where required by journal policy.

Submission and Review Process

6. Production Accepted manuscripts proceed through formatting, proofreading and monthly issue assignment.

Possible Editorial Decisions

Accept

The manuscript is suitable subject to remaining editorial and production requirements.

Minor Revision

Limited corrections, clarifications or presentation improvements are required.

Major Revision

Substantial changes are required in methods, evidence, analysis, structure or ethics.

Reject

The manuscript is unsuitable because of scope, quality, originality, ethics or another major concern.

Preparing a Revision

  • Read all reviewer and editorial comments carefully.
  • Respond separately to each important observation.
  • Identify the changes made in the manuscript.
  • Provide scientific reasons where a suggestion is not followed.
  • Check consistency across the abstract, methods, results and conclusion.
  • Submit the revised manuscript and response document together.

Acceptance and Proofreading

Editorial acceptance does not mean that the article has already been published. The manuscript may still require formatting, metadata preparation, reference checking, author declarations and final proof approval.

Authors should verify names, affiliations, tables, figures, results, references and other publication details carefully during proofreading.

Monthly Issue Assignment

The journal follows a monthly publication schedule. A publication-ready article may be assigned to an appropriate forthcoming issue after all editorial, ethical and production requirements have been completed.

Submission, revision or acceptance does not guarantee publication in a specific month.
