Publication Frequency

The Journal of Advanced Legal Studies (JALS) follows a monthly publication frequency and publishes twelve regular issues during each calendar year.

The monthly publication schedule supports the timely dissemination of legal research, judicial analysis, legislative reviews, public-policy studies and emerging developments across national and international legal systems.

Monthly Publication Schedule

JALS publishes one regular issue every month from January to December. Together, the twelve monthly issues form the journal’s annual publication cycle.

Publication-ready manuscripts are assigned to an appropriate forthcoming issue after completing editorial screening, peer review, revision, final approval and production requirements.
